1. Poha
Ingredients: Poha: 2 cups
Onion: 1, finely chopped
Green chillies: 2, finely chopped
Peanuts: 2 tsp
Turmeric: 1/4 tsp
Salt and sugar: to taste
Curry leaves: 5-6
Oil: 2 tsp
Method: Wash poha and drain water.
Heat oil in a pan and fry peanuts and curry leaves.
Add onion and green chillies.
Add turmeric, salt and sugar.
Add poha and mix well.
Serve with coriander and lemon.

2. Bread Pakora
Ingredients: Bread slices: 4
Gram flour: 1 cup
Red chili powder: 1 tsp
Turmeric: 1/4 tsp
Salt: to taste
Green chili and coriander: finely chopped
Water: to make the batter
Oil: for frying
Method: Prepare the batter by adding red chili, turmeric, salt and green chili to the gram flour.
Cut the bread diagonally.
Dip the bread slices in the gram flour batter and fry in hot oil till golden brown.
Serve with chutney or sauce.

3. Besan Cheela
Ingredients: Gram flour: 1 cup
Green chillies and coriander: finely chopped
Salt: according to taste
Turmeric and red chilli powder: 1/4 teaspoon
Water: to make the batter
Oil: to fry
Method: Mix all the spices and water in the gram flour and make a thick batter.
Apply oil on the pan and spread the batter.
Fry till it turns golden on both sides.
Serve hot with chutney.

4. Masala Makai (Corn)
Ingredients: Boiled corn: 1 cup
Butter: 1 tsp
Lemon juice: 1 tsp
Chaat masala: 1/2 tsp
Salt and pepper: as per taste
Method: Add butter to the boiled corn.
Add chaat masala, salt, pepper and lemon juice.
Serve hot.

5. Aloo Tikki
Ingredients: Boiled potatoes: 4
Green chillies: 2, finely chopped
Coriander leaves: finely chopped
Bread crumbs: 1/2 cup
Salt, red chilli powder, garam masala: to taste
Oil: for frying
Method: Mash the boiled potatoes and add the spices, bread crumbs and coriander to it.
Shape the tikkis.
Put some oil on the pan and fry the tikkis till they turn golden brown.
Serve with tamarind chutney or curd.
