The Department of Telecommunications has received the recommendation to allocate spectrum to Starlink. Telecom regulator TRAI had sent this recommendation on December 15. Now preparations are underway to allocate spectrum to Starlink to start satellite broadband service. Starlink will provide internet service directly with the help of satellite.
Tension of Jio-Airtel and others will increase

Jio and Airtel have also completed their regulatory process in this direction, but it seems that Starlink may be the first company to launch satellite service in India.
